We believe true residential treatment begins with discipleship. At the Paul Allen Kingsbury School for Men, we house, train, develop, and disciple nearly 100 persons every six months to live the crucified Christian life. This life will grant all of mankind freedom from the penalty of sin, as well as provide them with the relationship with Christ necessary to enjoy their freedom from the power of sin.
This is the video for the June 2009 Graduation of the Reformers Unanimous Schools of Discipleship in Rockford, IL. The New Women's Home
We are currently serving 140 men and women in the Schools of Discipleship. However, the women's program currently occupies one building and has nearly 30 women crowding in a facility with 12 bedrooms and 4 showers in a bad neighborhood. Despite these hindrances we have seen hundreds of women’s lives transformed by developing a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Despite this great success we turn away hundreds of women a year who desperately need help.
As a young girl, I had rebelled against all my authorities. I had figured out that with a little makeup and my sister’s ID, I could get more attention from older men at night clubs. I was pretty, and they didn’t seem to care about my age. I became fascinated with the night life.
I had everything going for me. I was a wealthy physical therapist and had a beautiful family, ranch, horses, and ponds on my property. However, I made many small compromises that led to great disasters. I allowed the stress of my life to lead me to alcohol and soon thereafter to drugs.
